'THE PREMISE'

 

In 2006 a man picks up a book called, ‘The Sound of Thunder’, by someone called Charcoal Grace and begins to read about a dinner party.

 

 

As the man continues to read he becomes aware of three things:

 

 

• All eleven of the dinner party guests were real people.

 

 

• All eleven guests are dead and were so before they arrived at the house.

 

• He has read the book before.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To read, 'Clover Lane', is to follow the man as he learns about eleven women at a dinner party and how, 'The Sound of Thunder', which he has in his possession, came to be.
